How would one know a mile, or two?

In teaching about everyday conduct for his disciples, Jesus said,

“And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.” (Matthew 5:41 ESV)

These milestones are displayed at the Museum of Mediterranean Archaeology at the Gan Hashlosha park on the south side of the Jezreel Valley in Israel.

I did not know about this one, Ferrell, so I’m adding it to my list for the next trip…whenever that might be. Was scheduled to tour with Carl Rasmussen with Tutku last October, but only made as far as the Brussels Airport on the morning of 7 October when the Tel Aviv flight was abruptly cancelled. Yes, there is a God.

Hi Ferrell, I enjoy getting your emails. I wanted to tell you that my husband, John Gresham, passed away Feb 22, 2024. He had Glioblastoma brain cancer. He had surgery Feb 5 and passed away feb 22. He didn’t live long. I am so sad and miss John so much. I thought you would like to know this. We went to church at Jordan Park with your mother, we are still members there. John was 89 years old, I am 87, We had 64 years together. We were blessed with many years. Love, Joyce Gresham
