My wife and a few former students and friends have been plotting to give me a 90th birthday party. They are hopeful that a large number of former students and close friends will be able to come by for a few minutes to say hello. (What if they gave me a party and no one came? I am not the only one that would be embarrassed.
The mini-committee has a beautiful gold on black poster, but it is too large for the constraints of this blog. Don’t let these women down.

Dear brother, we have never met in person, and yet I am your spiritual student. For decades, your blog has accompanied me, and you take me to cities I would otherwise never visit. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your valuable work and wish you God’s rich blessings for your new year! May our Lord grant you much strength for the coming chapter of your life. Happy Birthday Ferrell!!! Thanks for all the outstanding sermons and classes during our time at Carrollwood during the 80’s. Hope and pray you have a wonderful time at the party today. Grant and Janie Faris
Happy birthday to you, brother!
We were waiting for services to begin at the church in London England a few years ago. We had heard that Gerald was going to be there that day. I was so excited to see Gerald Beatty from the Plant City church come through the door. Moments later Ferrell and his entourage come in. Actually kind of a let down for me. Buddy says Ferrell’s Chapel talk “and behold it was Leah” was in the top three he ever heard. You’ll have to ask Ferrell how he developed it. I’ve known Ferrell since he was preaching here at West End in Bowling Green back when I was a freshman at WKU. Love you and thankful to call you brother even though you have been a disappointment at times.
Happiest of birthday wishes to you, brother! And thank you for the selfless work you’ve done to help us all visualize the truth of God’s word via the pictures of your travels. Brotherly, Mike Davis

Happy birthday, Brother Jenkins!
I hope you have a lovely 90th birthday party!
You were my introduction to Christian evidences, the cause of great anxiety when reciting scripture to you in your office, and always a good natured recipient when “the preacher guys“ were not satisfied with a test score and made accusations of “ambiguous questions!“ 😂 In all seriousness, thank you for all you have done and all that you do in furthering the kingdom of God.
Sincerely, Barbara Creel Holloway
Happy birthday! I will not be able to make the celebration, but want to thank you for your years of service to God and His people. Your “Scheme of Redemption” class was a great help to me in my teen years, and I have continued to profit from your writings in the years since. May God continue to bless you. John R. Gibson
Thanks, Ferrell, for your years of service to the Lord and to your fellow Christians! Thanks for the Travel Blog, for the books and lessons, and for the meetings!

Happy birthday…has it been that long? You are one of my favorite teachers and I learned sooooo much from you but especially on how to study God’s word. I really appreciate that for that is the same way I study to this day. You made us learn and I still go back to my scheme of Redemption binder if I need reminding of something. Thank you for being hard on us. Again Happy Birthday.
Congratulations on a life well lived. You inspire me!
Dearest Ferrell, 90 very productive and faithful years. You never cease to amaze me and make me proud to be your friend and recipient of several memorable tours of Europe and China. May your remaining years still be as productive as you want them to be. Good tidings and good health. Love, Ken and Sharon (Harrison) Willis
Congratulations Ferrell, and thanks for so many wonderful photos of Israel through the years, really appreciated. Blessings, Geoff Waugh, Australia (www.renewaljournal.com).
Happy Birthday, Ferrell! Thank you for your faithfulness and your generosity in allowing me to use your photos on my blog. May the Lord continue to bless you.
I will be unable to attend due to the distance, but I want to wish you a very happy birthday. The Lord has blessed you with life, ability, and opportunities to serve Him, and you have truly been a blessing to so many others. Thanks for the big part you played in kindling a fire in my heart for a deeper understanding of God’s word and His eternal purpose for us. ~ Steve Klein
